The first big air show of the season is next week at NAF El Centro, California. El Centro is located 90 miles east of San Diego along the U.S. border with Mexico. The show is one day only on Saturday March 12th. The parking and admission are free and gates open at 9am. El Centro expects to draw 35,000 people, making it the single largest event in Imperial County. This years show will feature the f-18 Super Hornet tactical demonstration team of VFA122 stationed out of NAS Lemoore, California. There will be a motorcycle demonstration by Metal Mulisha, a demonstration of the Air Force’s F-16 by Viper West, and of course a full demonstration of the Blue Angels, the United States Navy demonstration squadron. Can you tell me how the free area is? Does it still have a good view of the ground demonstrations? Is it a further walk to the static exhibitions?
